Armenia reaffirmed its support for efforts to strengthen UNESCO`s mandate

ArmInfo. At the plenary meeting of the 225th session of the UNESCO Executive Board, the Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Armenia to UNESCO made a statement reaffirming Armenia's support for efforts to strengthen UNESCO's mandate and welcoming the "UNESCO80" process.

According to the press service of the Permanent Delegation of Armenia to UNESCO, the statement emphasized the importance of expanding intersectoral cooperation, the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and the role of education in promoting peace, human rights, and sustainable development. The need to enhance the effectiveness of UNESCO's normative documents and strengthen multilateral cooperation was also addressed.

The Permanent Delegate of Armenia to UNESCO continues to participate in the discussion of a number of thematic items on the session's agenda.
