Armenia and Qatar discussed the possibility of organizing a joint business summit

ArmInfo. A meeting between Aram Vardevanyan, Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament and Head of the Armenia-Qatar Friendship Group, and Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, Vice President of the State Council of Qatar, took place in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

According to the press service of the Armenian Parliament, the parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, focusing on developing economic cooperation, attracting investment, and strengthening business ties. They also emphasized the need to coordinate the positions of the Armenian Parliament and the Qatar Shura Council on regional and international parliamentary platforms.

Towards promoting cooperation between the business communities of Armenia and Qatar, the parties discussed the possibility of organizing a joint business summit with the Qatar Businessmen's Association. This initiative aims to establish direct ties between businessmen of the two countries, present investment opportunities, and develop joint economic programs.
