A group of Police officers visited Zhirayr Sefilyan, the leader of the United Opposition Headquarter running against the president-initiated Constitutional Amendments, and demanded him to appear before the Investigation Committee for interrogation on November 11 in the morning.
According to the United Opposition Headquarter press- office, Sefilyan did not let the police officers in his apartment, but promised to contact the investigator over the issue. "The Uited Opposition Headquarters assesses such actions as a failed attempt to exert pressure on the Headquarters and its leader, which shows the panic and fear of the Government," the press-office says.
To recall, Zhrayr Sefilyan has said recently that United Opposition Headquarters is determined to achieve a power change in Armenia by all means possible.
