Raffi Hovhannisyan: RPA to be excluded from the electoral processes

Upon any evidences of  administrative resource use during the pre electoral campaign The Republican Party of Armenia should  be excluded from the electoral  processes, Raffi Hovhannisyan, the leader of Heritage Party and a  candidate from Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc stated during the  press-conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the information of Media spread on involving the  directors and teachers of general education entities, as well as many  alarms of  pressure applied   to the workers of Governmental  structures must become a reason for RPA exclusion. "We have already  applied to the Central Electoral Committee, however we do not have  big expectations from it, as it is a part of this wicked system," he  pointed out. The politician also added that the tensions to the ORO  candidates are being done, as well as to the members of the Electoral  Committee.

In his turn Vardan Oskanian, the Union Party leader and a candidate  from ORO bloc stated that If CEC will not execute their demands it  will be a violation of the law. "There has not been a falsification  of this kind of measures, this is an exclusive case and the  Law-Enforcement Officials have to deal with it," he stressed. As to  possible post electoral crushes in case of the falsification of the  elections, he stated that the Bloc is not a supporter of violence  use, however if the nation wants this kind of development of the  events, he will lead the movement to the change of the authorities.  At that Oskanian stated there are many  political prisoners in the  country, among them he named Constituent Parliament leader Jirayr  Sefilyan, the member of New Armenia movement Andreas Ghukasyan, as  well as recently arrested Ex-Defense Minister of Artsakh Samvel  Babayan.

To note, the Union of Informed Citizens Organization published audio  records of 114 directors of kindergartens and schools of the Republic  with the members of the organization, who, introduced themselves on  the phone  the representatives of the pre electoral headquarter RPA,  found out that the workers and the management of educational  institutions agitate for the Ruling Party, which is forbidden by the  Electoral Code. At that Armenian Ombudsman expressed his worry,  stating the necessity of relevant reaction from the Central Electoral  Committee side and Law-Enforcement Officials. Armenian National  Congress- National Party of Armenia Bloc came with analogical  statement, which insisted on the resignation of the Minister of  Education Levon Mkrtchyan. The General Prosecutor and CEC stated,  that they learn the information published by the Informed Citizen  Organization. The analogical answer came from the Ministry of Science  and Education. "Now we prepare the statement, I can not say anything  in addition," the press-secretary of the Ministry stated. The RPA  stated in this case that the Electoral Code does not forbid people to  agitate after the working day is over.
