The members of the Security Council of Armenia discussed the issues of development of the military- industrial complex of Armenia, as well as the fight against terrorism

ArmInfo. The members of the  Security Council of Armenia headed by President Serzh Sargsyan  discussed issues of the development of the military complex of  Armenia, as well as the fight against terrorism today.

Members of the Security Council approved the state program for the  development of the military-industrial complex. Following the results  of the discussions, relevant instructions were given to the  government. The participants of the meeting also approved the draft  measures of the schedule for ensuring the implementation of the  national strategic provisions on combating terrorism in Armenia.

As a result of the discussions, instructions were also given to the  government. During the presentation of the issue, it was stressed  that the project needs adjustments taking into account the current  geopolitical realities and the high terrorist threat in the region.

In the fight against terrorism, the President, as effective measures,  has isolated improvements in the work on operational search,  including technical means, enhancing the capabilities of the  opposition units, as well as sharing experience and expanding  international cooperation.
