Ashot Manucharyan: Karabakh conflict is the best explosive pulse undermining the fantastic alliance of  Russia, Iran and Turkey

ArmInfo.Мember of “Karabakh Committee” , adviser to the first President of Armenia on national security issues Ashot  Manucharyan in an interview with   ArmInfo discusses the logic of recent events in the Middle East, the Kurdish factor, real beneficiaries of global policy processes. He talks about the place of Armenia in the global system of political coordinates, the threats to national security of the country, predicts a change in Armenia's external perception and management.

 Mr. Manucharyan,  the Turkish invasion of the Kurdish Syrian Afrin, the referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan, along with a number of other similar factors, seems to indicate the tendency of replacing the ISIS as a tool for dispelling the troubles in the Greater Middle East by the Kurdish factor. Where does this logic lead, in your opinion?

 There is no matter of  essential changes in the goal-setting in the actions of various forces. The global financial oligarchy continues to be the initiator and responsible for all the calamities of the peoples of Iraq, Syria, Libya, for the activities of ISIS. It is the oligarchy that is responsible for provoking chaos in order to preserve the existing world order, a model of civilization that makes it possible to concentrate world wealth and power in one hand. More recently, people began to become aware of the essence of what was happening and during the crisis period they asked questions, for example, about the goals of the state saving commercial banks thanks to subsidies. Such awareness was accompanied by riots, beginning with Latin America and ending with Asian countries. These riots had to be stopped somehow, which was done by provoking chaos in the Greater Middle East region. Hence, in the Middle East and North Africa, new weapons of mass destruction in the form of refugees were created. Paradoxically, this was done not by anyone, but by the governments of European countries that bombed Libya and plunged North Africa into a state of chaos, accompanied by refugee flows to the same Europe. The reasons should be sought in the refusal of European societies to sign another "Atlantic Charter", which would allow a new breath for the existing world order. Meanwhile, it was this document that made it possible to raise the robbery system to a new level, giving transnational corporations in sovereign states of Europe greater power than these states themselves. In other words, the world financial elite needed to cover the eyes of societies with the initiators and the essence of the processes taking place in the world. This was done by provoking the chaos, evil and flows of refugees in the Middle East with the aim of further rolling over to Europe.

 Fine, but, for example, the same Turkish operation in Syrian Afrin has not led to the formation of a wave of refugees, but to clashes with Kurds by now. So where is the logic?

Until recently, the chaos in the region was sown by means of  ISIS, created by regional and wider foreign intelligence agencies, which (ISIS), by the way,  does not fulfill national tasks at all. At the same time, ISIS actively exploited the centuries-old hatred of Islamic communities and countries in relation to European civilization. And what allegedly built ISIS on the territory of its "state" from the point of view of Islam was much more just than what Europe had offered them for centuries. And a one and a half billion Islamic world, thus, using the example of the activity of ISIS , saw that such justice exists anyway. The mouthpieces of Western propaganda in the person of CNN and other similar offices demonstrated only one side of the IGIL, holding back the other for the purpose of provoking the West to fight Islamists.

 As a result, today a much larger problem arose for humanity: the people of Islamic countries need to present a higher idea than the one that was given to them by IGIL. Just stop fighting is not enough, we need an idea, and in any other way  all those people will periodically rise up to fight for a fair peace, in their understanding. Accordingly, now, as if putting an end to the "Islamic state", the initiators of chaos needed a new instrument, and it was quickly found in the face of the Kurds. By the way, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt and Iran are next in the list of countries assigned to the slaughter. And to provoke chaos, for example, in Turkey, its authors are going to use crypto-Armenians and Armenian capabilities in the region as a whole. Kurdish game, in my opinion, is very subtle and in all this very significant policy of Donald Trump. The US president aspired to completely different goals and is not at all an instrument of the financial oligarchy and vice versa. His task was to transform the United States, which was the main instrument of the world financial oligarchy, into the instrument of the American people for the fulfillment of national tasks. Trump personally spoke about this more than once, of course, in more cautious and politically correct terms. And he tried to establish cooperation primarily with Russia and China in order to stop the chaos in various regions of the world. And certain people  in Washington, serving the global financial oligarchy, provoke a worsening of relations with Moscow and Beijing precisely to prevent him from doing so. However, nevertheless, Trump managed to conduct a successful operation in North Korea. And as a result of this operation, both Kim Jong-un and Trump remained in the lead. The opportunities for dialogue between Russia and China from one and the United States on the other hand were brought to naught due to the aforementioned efforts. Trump began provoking an aggravation of the crisis around North Korea, demonstrating himself as a determined man ready to use nuclear weapons against the DPRK. And here all those who prevented him from establishing relations with Russia and China, those who called him a weakling, began to dissuade Trump from a nuclear strike against the DPRK. He also began to call for an agreement with Pyongyang.  When Trump reasonably asked how it is possible to agree with, let’s say, an inadequate leader of the DPRK, he was advised to negotiate with the DPRK through China and Russia.

Which was perfectly Trump’s goal…?

Definitely.  And he got it, playing that  gorgeous game with North Korea.

The second provocateur of chaos in the Middle Easton behalf of the interests of the world financial oligarchy is Binyamin Netanyahu. His activities, at the same time, do not in any way pursue the protection of the interests repeatedly offered to them by the Israeli people. Netanyahu and his entourage tirelessly provoke hatred in neighboring countries in neighboring countries, provoking conflicts in these countries, so that they, allegedly, were not up to the Jewish state. By the way, they are making considerable efforts in provoking the incitement of the Karabakh conflict. And these efforts by no means boil down to the supply of Israeli weapons to Azerbaijan.

 And why should Israel provoke a war in Karabakh?

 Because Iran and Turkey still stand in line due to the plans of sustainability undermining initiators in these and other countries. Recently it was realized in Turkey, in Iran it was always known earlier. After this awareness of reality, Ankara realized that they do not have allies and friends interested in stability in Turkey.  With the exception of two opposing enemies.

Russia and Iran…?

Exactly.  As a result, an absolutely fantastic alliance emerged between Turkey, Russia and Iran. And this alliance, this factor of stability had to be undermined. The best bluffer is the Karabakh conflict. The start of a full-scale war between Armenia and Azerbaijan will not only blow up the whole region, but also destroy the alliance between Moscow, Tehran and Ankara.

 Which is Netanyahu’s goal?

Of course.  I could only say that until recently, only Azerbaijan was in the orbit of Israeli influence. However, gradually this influence grows in Armenia, especially in the information space, which, from the filing and manipulation of Israel, works in the direction of preserving the tools for creating additional conflict around Karabakh.

Your point of view is clear. There are only some  questions  remaining about the main vectors of strokes of initiators of controlled chaos ...

 The main direction, the main blow is directed to Europe. The second direction is Russia, which today has become a military group that opposes the interests of the world oligarchy. The mere presence of Russia prevents the global financial elite from cracking down on China. In the direction of the US, its president, Trump, is   holding a strike perfectly as of today and is quite capable of turning around and striking back. At the same time, no national leader can objectively cope with the world financial oligarchy today.

It's unclear why Trump the oligarch needs to fight "colleagues". You do not see this as a contradiction?

Within the framework of a conditional struggle between  national and collaborative bourgeoisie. Nobody canceled it after the amendment, that today's collaborators are the weapons of the world financial oligarchy. The growth of GDP by means of cheating in the financial markets in the long term does not come from the national interests of the United States. And this American national elite is well aware of this philosophy.

Recently, the pages of Russian and pro-Russian media are increasingly appearing about the susceptibility of Armenia to the terrorist threat. At the same time, Russia's military presence is mentioned as the only panacea. Do you see such threats in respect to our national security?

 In my opinion, the threat of terrorism exists today in relation to any countries, not just Armenia. And its direction is being developed in the conditional headquarters of the world financial oligarchy. Some of the nearest goals, incidentally, in the neighborhood with Armenia, I have already outlined. The decision on any other country can be made practically at any moment. And the presence of Nagorno-Karabakh and millions of Islamized Armenians in Turkey is not the best factor in favor of not adopting such a decision on Armenia. The potential for creating such a threat exists in Armenia, therefore, with the purposeful work of the special services, it can very well become a reality. At the same time, the presence of the 102nd Russian military unit, the Russian military presence in Armenia, is both a guarantee of our country's security against the threat of terrorism, and a target for terrorists. Therefore, certain actions aimed at undermining the conditions of the Russian military presence in Armenia are quite probable.

Under the conditions of total control of Republican Party of Armenia  and Serzh Sargsyan in power personally over, at least, the domestic political agenda of the country, the motivation for polemics around the personality of the future president Armen Sargsyan is at least incomprehensible. Is it possible that the President will be not only ceremonially declarative functions under the pressure from outside to circumvent the Constitution?

 Armenia is not an exception among the countries of the post-Soviet space where external control is established. The only happy exception was Belarus and Russia is gradually becoming similar. And Armen Sargsyan is a qualitatively new stage of Armenia's external governance. Previously, Armenia was governed from the outside strategically in terms of values, implementation of specific economic programs, etc. With the advent of Armen Sargsyan, a man who for 20 years exercised the function of managing our country in Great Britain, the instrument of everyday external management will now appear in Armenia. Therefore, in my opinion, with the presidency of Armen Sargsyan, Serzh Sargsyan and his entourage will have to be satisfied with the governance of the state at best a secondary role. Therefore, I personally perceive his coming to the post of president as a transition of Armenia's external governance to a qualitatively new level of direct government. Armen Sargsyan will really be the President of Armenia, having actually sent the constitutional tricks of Serzh Sargsyan to the brink. And Armen Sargsyan surely will come to Armenia not only, he will come with thousands of graduates of English and Western universities, members of so called  "Association of Graduates of English Universities" invisible but influential in Armenia. Conceiving the reform of the Constitution for themselves and in their own interests, Serzh Sargsyan was guided by his own local thinking. He assumed, and a conditional foreign club today has. And this club still needs Serzh Sargsyan to make the transition to direct governance of Armenia, but he will not be needed afterwards and very soon he will be forced to leave because of uselessness.
