Aghvan Vardanyan: It is impossible to achieve any positive changes by   armed struggle and blood

On  March 26 at a briefing in the National Assembly of Armenia the  secretary of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction Aghvan  Vardanyan stated, commenting on the next call of members of the Sasna  Tsrer group for the revolutionary overthrow of power.

Vardanyan said that it is impossible to achieve any positive changes  with the help of armed struggle and blood. "Such appeals can not be  crowned with success and have a wide response among the masses, in  addition, all this is very dangerous," Vardanyan said.

He considered unacceptable the fact that three months after the April  war in the zone of the Karabakh conflict in Yerevan, the regiment of  the Police Patrol Service was seized by the Sasna Tsrer group. "You  can not solve important state issues with weapons, this is not a  method," Vardanyan concluded.  Note that representatives of the group  "Sasna Tsrer" issued a statement in which they voiced the call for a  new armed struggle. 

"The genocidal, colonial regime and its henchmen are criminals and  enemies of the people, so they need to be talked with weapons,  through revolutions, these methods can be very tough." Attempts to  mislead people who are genocidal in a colonial country, false  principles of humanism, peacefulness and law- abiding, to deter  people from being able to respond violently to violence is an  accessory to genocide, "the group said in a statement. Recall that on  July 17, 2016 the group "Sasna Tsrer" seized the building of the  Police Patrol Division demanding the resignation of Armenian   President Serzh Sargsyan. After the release of the PPP, the members  of the group were arrested, and the trial of the seizure of PPP is  currently under way.
