
ArmInfo. With the application of the "Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership" agreement with the European Union, reforms that are of great importance for Armenia will be implemented in all spheres. On the eve of the first meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the implementation of the paragraphs of the agreement said the head of the commission, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
According to the press service of the government, the Vice Prime Minister highly appreciated the work of the concerned departments at the preliminary stage. According to Mher Grigoryan, the draft preliminary documents will help the commission to fulfill its tasks at the proper level.
During the meeting, the secretary of the commission, the head of Mger Grigorian's office Sedrak Barseghyan reported on the process of developing the road map and the draft schedule of work. After that, the commission members discussed and approved a clear timetable for the development of the road map, according to which by the end of this year, measures should be approved to ensure the agreed provisions of the Agreement with the EU.
In turn, the Minister of Nature Protection Eric Grigoryan reported on the activities that, according to the roadmap, are aimed at addressing issues related to the environment and climate changes.
Recall that the Agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership between Armenia and the EU was signed on November 24, 2017 at the summit of the Eastern Partnership in Brussels.
