The Prosecutor General`s Office of Armenia revealed violations in the activities of the Regiment of the State Guard of Police

ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, verifying the activities of the Regiment of state protection of the RA Police for 2015-2018 ,. revealed a number of offenses.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, during the inspections it was revealed that between the PGO and 6 economic entities agreements were concluded on the provision of security services to the latter. However, an employee of the regiment for the protection of especially important facilities and management institutions of the PGO did not transfer the amount of 109.990.200 for the security services provided to the off-budget account of the regiment.

In the course of the investigation, it became clear that this theft was made possible by the appearance of a negligent attitude towards the work of the leadership of Polk. Taking into account that during the investigation the facts of embezzlement in especially large amounts were revealed, as well as the manifestation of official negligence, which had serious consequences, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia instituted a criminal case on the fact.
