Levon Yeranosyan suspected of abuse of power

"Levon Yeranosyan is suspected in the framework of the case on part 2  and 3 of Article 309 of the RA Criminal Code - abuse of office," the  lawyer explained. As a preventive measure against him, a written  undertaking not to leave the country was elected.

Note that, according to Part 2 of Art. 309 (excess of official  authority, combined with the use of violence, weapons or special  means) is punishable by imprisonment for a term of two to six years,  with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in  certain activities for a period not exceeding three years), and the  third the same act that entailed grave consequences through  negligence) is punishable by imprisonment for a term of six to ten  years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or  engage in certain activities for a period not exceeding three years.
