Acting Prime Minister: Armenian armed forces fully retain strategic  initiative in Nakhijevan direction

ArmInfo.After my election as Prime Minister, Azerbaijan made a statement that they "liberated" 11,000 hectares of territories in Nakhijevan. On December 3, during the election campaign, the Acting President declared. Prime Minister  of Armenia, head of the My Step block Nikol Pashinyan in Armavir.

"This is misinformation. This statement does not correspond to  reality and the Armenian armed forces both earlier and now defend our  borders. The Armenian armed forces both before and fully retain the  strategic initiative in their hands, as I was convinced two weeks ago  when I visited the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Nakhichevan  direction, "the Acting Prime Minister stressed. 

He also noted that reforms will be implemented in the army in the  near future. "The living conditions of the soldiers in the army will  be improved, we will deal with a number of issues, from food and  ending with the clothes of our military," Pashinyan said. He also  noted that all those who are familiar with the terrain, know that the  positions of the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops can sometimes grind  changes depending on the season.

Acting Prime Minister also stated that some political forces in  Armenia, conscious or not, agreed with the arguments of the  Azerbaijani side. "In no case should one proceed from disclosing  one's own narrow political interests to the security sphere in the  country. Today, they accuse us of conspiring against Artsakh, but  this is not true. If someone accuses the revolution of conspiring  against Armenia and Artsakh, it means that he accuses the people of  conspiracy. Not the government, but the people of our country have  the right to decide the question of Artsakh. It was you, going to the  negotiations, trembled for your business in Brussels and are now  condemning our foreign policy. The current authorities of the country  have no business and are ready to defend the interests of Armenia all  over the world, "Pashinyan stressed.

He also noted that no one in the whole world has compromising the  government of Armenia. "No one can influence us, except for the  people of Armenia," noted the Acting premiere.
