According to the source, 20 new cases of coronavirus infection were  detected in the country per day. Ten people died from complications  per day, 20 became infected. During the same time, in Italy, where  the largest outbreak of the disease occurred in Europe, 3497 new  cases of infection were recorded. At the same time, 1370 people were  discharged from hospitals in China, another 1409 people who came into  contact with those who were under medical supervision due to  coronavirus were also released home. In addition, the number of those  who were in serious condition also decreased: 384 people felt better.  In total, 80,844 cases of infection and 3,199 victims of the disease  are known in China.

In Italy, where the largest outbreak in Europe occurred, the number  of people infected during the same period is much higher. In a day,  3497 new cases of the disease were detected in the country, and the  number of victims increased by 175, the newspaper Corriere della Sera  reported.

In the world, not counting the PRC, over 69 thousand people were  infected, 2592 people died from the disease. Following China in terms  of the number of infected are Italy and Iran - 21 157 and 12 729  people, respectively. According to Chinese authorities, the peak of  the spread of infection in the country has passed. In this regard, in  Hubei province, where the spread of coronavirus began at the end of  last year, quarantine was softened, and all 16 temporary hospitals  organized after the outbreak of COVID-2019 were closed in its  administrative center, Wuhan.

While the epidemic in China has declined, the number of people  infected has risen sharply in Europe. In addition to Italy, outbreaks  occurred in Spain, France and Germany - the number of people infected  there is 5753, 4500 and 3062, respectively. Against the backdrop of  the rapid spread of the disease in these countries, the head of the  World Health Organization Tedros Gebreyesus said that the EU has  become the center of the coronavirus pandemic.
