Prime Minister: We have adopted 12 events, it`s time to sum up the  results

ArmInfo.On April 14, the regular meeting on the process of implementing anti-crisis measures to neutralize the consequences of COVID-19 was held under the chairmanship of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to the press service of the government, opening the  meeting, the Prime Minister noted that in the direction of overcoming  the consequences of the coronavirus, work has been ongoing in a daily  format for almost a month. , the head of government  emphasized.

Chairman of the Central Bank Artur Javadyan presented the current  results of the 1st and 2nd events. According to him, at the first  event, some progress has been achieved, new applications have  arrived. The total number of approved loans at the moment is 214, the  volume is 9 billion 715 million drams. At the same time, 828 million  500 thousand drams from the indicated credit resources will be  directed to pay salaries to 2055 employees. As part of the second  event, 770 loan applications were approved, of which 479 were  micro-loans granted to the agricultural sector. The approved loan  amount was AMD 1 billion 844 million, of which 346.5 million AMD were  already allocated to the agricultural sector. The Chairman of the  Central Bank noted that according to the monitoring results, most of  the 479 approved agricultural loans already serve the purpose and   have been invested in the economy.  Minister of Economy Tigran  Khachatryan introduced the process of implementing the 3rd event.   According to him, 102 loan applications worth 947 million drams were  approved. At present, draft amendments to some measures are being  developed, and with its approval, it is expected that the amount of  credit resources provided within the framework of this event will  increase by 700-800 million drams. 

SRC Chairman David Ananyan informed that 6149 beneficiaries were  allocated 937.3 mln AMD as part of the 5th event.  Minister of Labor  and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan reported on the process of  implementing social assistance programs. The 4th event supported 964  beneficiaries, the 6th - 6,723 beneficiaries. At the same time, the  process of identifying beneficiaries is ongoing, and perhaps the  circle will expand. The list of beneficiaries of the seventh event  has been expanded, and support will be provided to 5957 pregnant  women, according to current indicators, the total volume of this  event is 597 million 700 thousand drams. As part of the eighth event,  39,000 applications with a total budget of 2.6 billion have already  been approved, and applications are still being received. The ninth  event is under implementation, the application process is underway,  after which the beneficiaries are identified and the lists are  compared. After completion of these works, the money will be  transferred to the beneficiaries in a short time. The Minister also  announced the implementation of the 10th, 11th and 12th events.   During the exchange of views, it was noted that measures taken to  neutralize the economic consequences of coronavirus are effective.  

Then, the meeting discussed the implementation of measures to  mitigate the social consequences of the coronavirus.  The issues were  discussed related to the improvement of some components of these  programs, which will increase their targeting and accelerate the  provision of support.  The Prime Minister instructed to continue  monitoring, monitor the progress of the programs and submit interim  reports daily.
