


ArmInfo. The French Embassy in Armenia welcomes the arrival of a second group of French doctors in Yerevan.
As the press service of the French Embassy in Armenia reports, the activity of this mission, consisting of 10 people, is financed by the crisis center of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. "The second group will continue the activities of the previous French group of doctors and will assist Armenian specialists for 10 days. Providing assistance to the Armenian hospitals during the peak of the pandemic will open a new stage of the Armenian-French cooperation in the field of healthcare," the French diplomatic mission said.
Note that the second group of the mission of the French doctors, headed by the famous French doctor of Armenian descent Laurent Papazyan arrived in Yerevan on a special flight from France in the evening of June 23.
In the capital's airport, the group was met by the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zare Sinanian, French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lakot and Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan. Doctors from France will join Armenian medical staff struggling against coronavirus.
