Armenia appealed for help to Russia in connection with  Azerbaijani-Turkish large-scale military aggression

ArmInfo. Today, on October 31, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he described in detail the  situation created as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish military  aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh and the challenges that arose.

As reported by the press service of the RA MFA, the letter, in  particular, emphasizes the fact of the transfer of foreign armed  terrorists from the Middle East and their participation in  hostilities against Nagorno- Karabakh.

"Taking into account the fact that hostilities are approaching the  territory of the Republic of Armenia, the facts of encroachments on  the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of  Armenia appealed to President of the Russian Federation with a  request to begin immediate consultations to determine the types and  scope of assistance that the Russian Federation can provide to  Armenia to ensure its security based on the allied relations between  Armenia and Russia and in accordance with Article 2 of the Agreement  on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance of August 29, 1997,"  Pashinyan's letter reads.
