National Democratic Pole on possible post-election clashes: the  ground is being laid for the establishment of chaos in the country

ArmInfo.Immediately after the elections and passing to parliament, the National Democratic Pole (renamed "Sasna Tsrer"), in accordance with the requirements of the transitional period, will begin to form a transitional government, Vahe Gasparyan, a cardiac surgeon by profession, candidate for prime minister from the NDP, told reporters on June 20 after voting.

Despite the tight deadlines and unequal conditions, the member of the  NDP council is satisfied with the work of the party during the  agitation campaign. "We do not doubt our weighty presence in  parliament," Gasparyan said. At the same time, the head of the NDP  ruled out the possibility of forming a coalition both by the current  government and with the political forces representing the previous  government.

Referring to the talks about possible post-election clashes, the  leader of the NDP said that there is reason to think that the ground  is being laid for the establishment of chaos in the country. The  prime minister's candidate urged citizens not to succumb to  provocations and to act within the law.

Let us remind that the electoral list of the NDP is headed by Vahe  Gasparyan, Varuzhan Avetisyan, Kara Chobanyan, Garegin Chukaszyan,  Areg Kyureghian and others. Zhirayr Sefilyan is not on the electoral  list, since the term of his citizenship does not allow doing this,  but, according to the NDP members, he takes an active part in the  campaign.  Extraordinary elections to the National Assembly of the  8th convocation have started in Armenia. From 8.00 am local time,  2008 polling stations were opened throughout the republic in 38  territorial districts. 25 political forces are taking part in the  elections: 4 blocs and 21 parties. The elections will be held on a  100% proportional system. The entry barrier for parties is set at 5%,  for alliances - 7%. There is no turnout threshold.
