Thus, according to preliminary data, in Gyumri, the counting of votes  has been completed at all 82 polling stations and the bloc of the  incumbent mayor "Balasanyan" is in the lead, which has secured the  support of 36.58% of voters. In second place is the candidate from  the ruling "Civil Contract" party - 29.56%, in the third "Zartonk"  party - 10.60%, followed by "Country of Life" - 5.65% and RPA -  5.06%. In general, 10 political forces participated in the electoral  processes in Gyumri. To note, there was a very low turnout in Gyumri.

Imprisoned opposition candidate Arush Arushanyan won the victory in  the enlarged Goris community.  According to preliminary results,  6,256 people voted for the "Arush Arushanyan" bloc in Goris, and  3,590 people voted for the candidate from the "Civil Contract" party  Vladimir Abunts.

According to preliminary data, representatives of the Republic party  led by Aram Sargsyan won in Meghri., 4 political forces participated  in the elections in Meghri: the Azatakan party, the Country of Life,  the Republic party and the Civil Contract party.

Yesterday, elections to local self-government bodies were held in  nine communities of Armenia. Elections to local self-government  bodies were held according to the proportional electoral system in  six communities of Shirak, Syunik and Tavush, and according to the  majority system in three communities of Aragatsotn, Armavir and Lori  . A total of 55,410 voters (33.23%) took part in them.

According to preliminary data of the CEC, 24.14% (26,417 citizens)  voted in Gyumri, 44% (8085) in Dilijan, 50.25% (10,400) in Goris,  62.66% (2615) in Tatev, in Teg - 60.64%. (2359) and in Meghri -  59.47% (5098).

Majoritarian elections were held in the communities of Ferik  (Armavir), Shamiram (Aragatsotn) and Fioletovo (Lori), where the  turnout was 28.62% or 77 voters, 25.91% or 135 voters, 27.83% or 224  voters, respectively.

A total of 152 polling stations were opened for the elections.

As of 8.00 am, all 152 polling stations, in accordance with the RA  Electoral Code, were open to receive the first voters.

318 technical devices were used for electronic registration of voters  in the elections to the local self- government bodies.

Eight local public organizations were accredited to carry out the  observation mission during the elections, and 15 media outlets were  accredited to cover the election process.
