Azerbaijan started talking about so-called enclaves on territory of  Armenia

ArmInfo.Azerbaijan fully supports the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a press conference on  Monday following the results of the year.

"We highly value Turkey's messages at all levels.  Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu noted that the process is being coordinated with Azerbaijan.  <...>  We develop relations with states based on the norms and principles of  international law. Armenia has become an exception in this matter. We  also propose to Armenia to establish relations on the basis of the  norms and principles of international law, "said Bayramov.

The Foreign Minister stated that it is unacceptable to ignore the  issue of the enclaves of Azerbaijan on the territory of Armenia. At  the same time, he did not say a word about the primordially Armenian  villages that came under the Azerbaijani occupation, a vivid example  of which is Artsvashen, which today is under the jurisdiction of the  Azerbaijan Republic, we will not even mention the enclaves.

Bayramov added that the Sochi meeting on November 26 within the  trilateral format reflected the beginning of this process.

"Back in May of this year, Azerbaijan agreed to create a working  group to start the delimitation process.  However, Armenia put  forward certain conditions, so this process did not start at that  time. In this case, the creation of the commission would turn into a  long, endless process, "said Bayramov.

He stressed that the issue of enclaves is a reality that no one can  deny. "The solution to the issue of enclaves can take place precisely  in the process of delimitation. Therefore, it is important to create  an Armenian-Azerbaijani working group. Azerbaijan expressed its  readiness for this. Does the creation of a working group and the  beginning of the process mean resolving issues in a short time? We  have to be realistic. This will not be a short term process. It is  important to carry out systematic and continuous work in this area.  Azerbaijan's approach is that the process should take place at the  negotiating table so that there is no tension between the military or  prevent it. This is the best way. The best way to do this is by  experts holding discussions at the negotiating table, "stressed the  head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of  Azerbaijan, Anadolu reports.

Bayramov said that the border delimitation commission will be formed  in the coming months. "We think that the opposite side is also aware  of the seriousness of this issue, it is necessary to determine the  international borders between the countries. We believe that in the  near future a positive message will come from the opposite side.  Therefore, we think that this commission will be formed in the coming  months, "the minister added.

The Foreign Minister noted that Azerbaijan positively assesses the  meeting held in the 3 + 3 format with the participation of Turkey,  Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia and Iran (in Moscow on December 10).   Bayramov recalled that the initiative to create a 3 + 3 regional  discussion platform was put forward by the presidents of Azerbaijan  and Turkey.
