RA NSS: border adjustment works were carried out at Tegh-Kornidzor section

ArmInfo. Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan carried out  border adjustment works, the RA National Security Service reports.

On March 30, the National Security Service reported that the Azerbaijani side invaded the territory of the Republic of Armenia advancing in five places on the section of the road connecting the territory of the Republic of Armenia with the Lachin corridor.

In particular, according to the source, the border guards of the two countries were to be deployed on both sides of the border along the aforementioned section in the last days of March. Meanwhile, there were map misreadings during deployment. According to the Armenian side, there are five such points, where the Azerbaijani side is located 100 to 300 meters further from the border.  It has now been agreed that cartographers from both sides will correct the situation. At the same time, the NSS stated that " The Armenian side approaches the situation with the logic of not allowing escalation."
