ANCA accuses U.S. President Joe Biden of complicity in genocide of  people of Artsakh

ArmInfo.The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) accused U.S. President Joe Biden  of complicity in the genocide of the people of Artsakh.  Thus, having shared ArmInfo's news release on its X-page that Joe Biden wrote a letter to RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and promised support in overcoming the humanitarian consequences in Artsakh, the ANCA accused Biden of aiding genocide.

"President Biden - who armed genocidal Azerbaijan, abandoned at-risk  Armenians, and is today complicit in the ethnic-cleansing of Artsakh  - sends an absolutely heartless condolence card to Armenians still  burying their dead," the ANCA noted.

The American delegation headed by USAID Administrator Samantha Power  held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Armenia yesterday. Power  also conveyed to Pashinyan a letter from U.S. President Joe Biden  expressing US support for "Armenia's pursuit of a dignified and  durable regional peace that maintains sovereignty, independence,  territorial integrity, and democracy."

"Armenia has demonstrated its commitment to that purpose by engaging  in peace talks with Azerbaijan as well as implementing critical  economic reforms, improving government accountability and  strengthening democratic institutions. I assure you that the United  States will continue to stand besides Armenia as you work to  strengthen the democracy at home and seek stability in your  neighborhood.," the letter reads.  It was noted that the United  States is committed to working with the Government of Armenia to  address the humanitarian needs that have arisen as a result of the  recent violence.

We also add that Power held a press conference in Yerevan, where she  answered a number of questions from journalists. Having assured that  the United States is now reviewing the terms of cooperation with  Azerbaijan, the American official still avoided answering the  question of what measures will be taken if the Azerbaijani-Turkish  tandem launches an attack on Armenia in order to gain an  extraterritorial corridor through the Syunik region of the Republic  of Armenia.

She also did not answer the American journalist's question about how  it happened that, despite the assurances of the U.S. State Department  on September 14 in Congress, Washington did not take any effective  measures to prevent Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh and the  displacement of the Armenian civilian population from there.
