Yerevan Fashion Week 2024 promises an extraordinary celebration of  fashion

ArmInfo. Having made its debut as the first official fashion week in 2023, Yerevan Fashion Week aims to establish itself as an annual event designed to elevate Armenia's burgeoning fashion scene and position Yerevan as an influential player on the global creative map.

Fashion and Garment Chamber of Armenia has announced the second  edition of Yerevan Fashion Week, a groundbreaking event that will  captivate audiences and showcase the country's vibrant fashion scene.  Set to take place November 7-10 this fashion extravaganza promises an  unforgettable experience.

Over 15 talented Armenian designers will take center stage, unveiling  their latest collections on the runway.  With a delightful blend of  diverse styles and influences, these designers will leave the  audience inspired and in awe. From emerging talents showcased on the  esteemed Fashion Scout Armenia platform to established industry  icons, the lineup is brimming with excitement. In addition to the  runway shows, th attendees will have the opportunity to explore  different project presentations, participate in enlightening panel  talks, and admire thought-provoking exhibitions. Designer  meet-and-greets will allow fashion enthusiasts to interact with their  favorite creators, while after-parties and networking sessions will  provide ample opportunities to mingle with international guests,  including fashion press, experts, buyers, and influencers.

Event Highlights: Fashion Scout Armenia Talent Discovery Competition  This prestigious platform, based in the UK, aims to discover and  empower emerging talent. This year's event will take place at the  Cascade Memorial to the Victims of Soviet Repression, under the theme  of "Democracy and Freedom of Speech." The venue's transformation into  a symbol of youth, creativity, and hope adds significant cultural  weight to the occasion.

Designer Runway Shows and Collection Presentations During three days  over 15 designers will present their latest collections on the  runway, featuring the brands such as ANKASA, Ariga Torosian, Harmony,  JUST BLACK, LOOM Weaving, MARIKO

Manuk Aleksanyan, NARNY, Nilolyan, SONCESS, Shabeeg, THEMIS, The  Workshop, Z.G.EST, Raver, Zargaryan fashion, etc.

From avant-garde and elegant couture to streetwear and boho-chic, the  collections will reflect a rich blend of contemporary styles infused  with Armenia's cultural heritage. The designers will present  gender-neutral and season-neutral collections, pushing the boundaries  of fashion conventions.

Highlights include the runway show and exhibition of CRELAB TAVUSH x  CRELAB KOTAYK project, Teryan Cultural Center presentation of Taraz  Art collection with Armenian national costumes and craftsmanship,  runway show of fashion collection HOME created by displaced students  from Artsakh, photo exhibition and much more.

Yerevan Fashion Week 2024 will welcome international fashion media,  including representatives from VOGUE Italy, L'Officiel Italy, WWD  Japan, ELLE Japan, Lemile Germany, Fault Magazine, and the Blinx  media fashion channel Dubai, etc. as well as fashion professionals,  buyers, influencers, photographers. 

Yerevan Fashion Week is funded by Yerevan Municipality as general  sponsor, and co-funded by the UK International Development initiative  of the UK government, the Private Sector Development and Technical  Vocational Education and Training (PSD TVET) in Armenia commissioned  by the German Government and implemented by GIZ and the British  Council Armenia.
