Yerevan to host festival Finding common language

ArmInfo.A project under the motto "Find a Common Language" will be held in Yerevan on October 25-26.

As the organizers of the event told ArmInfo, within the framework of  the festival, the premiere of a play created by 30 young people from  Artsakh, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine and Russia will take place in the  Small Theater of Yerevan.

"For 10 days, they worked with international choreographers and  musicians to find a common language that goes beyond differences in  culture, origin, language, gender and physical features. The  international team included the director and artistic director of  Uppsala Circus Larisa Afanasyeva, musician of the group Dobranoc Ilya  Gindin, founder of the musical and performance group Drum Theater  Denis Vedmetsky, duduk player Artak Khachatryan,  multi-instrumentalist and composer Dmitry Lekveishvili, choreographer  and model Alika Paeske, dancer, founder of the Laboratory of  Contemporary Choreography Hasmik Tangyan," the statement said.

In addition, on October 25, the Goethe Center will host a discussion  project "Towards Equality: Culture and Education in Dialogue", the  goal of which is to overcome accessibility issues in the cultural and  educational spheres of Armenia through dialogue and exchange of  experience between experts from Germany and Armenia. Participants of  the event will get acquainted with examples of best practices in  Germany, take part in discussions with renowned experts and develop  solutions for their organization.

The discussion will be led by museum expert and consultant on  inclusiveness and accessibility in cultural institutions and museums,  Dr. Christian Schreubers and curator and art educator Dr. Keith  Bremann.

According to the information, the "Find a Common Language" project is  being implemented by the German company High Art Bureau with the  financial support of the German Foreign Ministry and with the  assistance of the German Embassy in Armenia and the Goethe Center in  Yerevan.
