


ArmInfo. A prosecutor in Armenia has been dismissed for failing to perform his duties properly. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.
The statement notes that based on the decision of the Prosecutor General of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan dated January 7, 2025, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against a person holding a position in the prosecutor's office of the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan. During the examination of the case, it was established that the prosecutor systematically violated the internal regulations of the prosecutor's office, the rules of conduct, and did not fulfill his official duties. In particular, he did not show up for official meetings, missing two working days without any legal grounds. The results of the disciplinary proceedings were sent on January 27, 2025 to the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, which, by its decision of January 30, 2025, examined the existence of a disciplinary violation and confirmed the guilt of the prosecutor.
By the order of the Prosecutor General of January 31, 2025, this prosecutor was dismissed from his position and dismissed from the system.
