Armenia`s premier has no candidate for post of Armenian Catholicos 

ArmInfo.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assures that he does not have a candidate for the post of Catholicos of All Armenians. At the same time, the Prime Minister  denies the thesis that by attacking the Armenian Apostolic Church  (AAC), he has picked up the campaign to discredit and demonize Holy  Etchmiadzin unleashed by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of  the Caucasus Allahshukur Pashazade.

Forcing the  events the previous morning, Pyashinyan called for   to remove the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and announced  the creation of a special coordination group for .  The first 10  members of the Coordination Group, who , will be chosen by the Prime Minister  himself. Against this backdrop, some political figures have stated  that Pashinyan intends to replace Karekin II with a Turkish citizen  of Armenian nationality

Amid the attacks of the Armenian authorities against the AAC,  hundreds of people went to the airport on Wednesday night to express  their support for the Supreme Patriarch, who returned from a trip to  the United Arab Emirates.
