Jury of context program of Golden Apricot festival named 

ArmInfo.The 22nd Golden Apricot International Film Festival announced the names of the jury  members of the international competition program.

As reported by the press service of the film festival, the list of  jury members included a participant of the festivals in San Sebastian  and Turin, winner of the Golden Apricot, American screenwriter and  director of Armenian origin Eric Nazarian, co-founder of the Greek  New Wave, co-author of the early works of Yorgos Lanthimos, director  of the famous film Atenberg, as well as the director of the  ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Greece Athena Rakhil Tsangari, one  of the most prominent authors of modern cinema of Central Asia,  master of genre experimentation and ironic gloom Kazakh director and  screenwriter Adilkhan Yerzhanov, one of the leading producers of  Romanian cinema, winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film  Festival and producer of films nominated for an Oscar Ada Solomon. 

The chairman of the jury of the international competition program of  the 22nd Yerevan International Film Festival "Golden Apricot" will be  the Mauritanian director Abderrahmane Sissako (winner of the Cannes  Film Festival and the French national film award Cezar). This year,  "Golden Apricot" will be held in the Armenian capital from July 13 to  20. Traditionally, the audience will be presented with films from  prestigious international film festivals, and a visit from famous  filmmakers is expected, who will share their experience and art.
