RA Security Council Secretary  holds phone conversation with his  counterpart from Iran

ArmInfo.   Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan held a telephone conversation with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council  of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian.

As reported by the press service of the Security Council of Armenia,  Grigoryan expressed condolences to the families of those killed in  the 12-day Israeli-Iranian war and wished a speedy recovery to the  wounded.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral  cooperation between Armenia and Iran.  Grigoryan presented Armenia's  stance on  unblocking regional communication channels, based on the  principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction. In  turn, Ahmadian confirmed Iran's position on the issue of unblocking  communications and expressed support for Armenia's position.

The latest regional developments were also discussed, with Grigoryan  and Akhmadyan emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and  stability in the region.
