


ArmInfo.After a phone conversation with the leaders of Iran, France, Russia and the King of Jordan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the results of the talks held on August 8 in the US capital, Washington DC.
According to the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, the Prime Minister briefed the President of Turkey on results of the talks, in particular, the initialing of the "Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan"; the joint petition to the OSCE on the dissolution of its OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms; the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity; project "Trump's Path for International Peace and Prosperity". Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan creates an opportunity to reach a new level of regional cooperation.
The matters of the Armenian-Turkish bilateral agenda were also discussed, in particular, the implementation of the previously reached. The Prime Minister noted that the atmosphere for the implementation of these agreements is now more favorable than ever. The interlocutors agreed to continue active political dialogue," the statement says.
