Armenian MFA starts  formal process of dissolving OSCE MG

ArmInfo.The Armenian MFA has started the formal process of dissolving the OSCE MG. Today, the Foreign Ministry sent the  joint appeal to the OSCE participating states on the closure of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures, as reported by the press service of the Ministry.

Recall that the decision to dissolve the OSCE MG was made on Saturday  during a trilateral meeting in Washington DC. Azerbaijan insisted on  this step in order to the Karabakh page in history.   Pashinyan has also repeatedly spoken about the lack of need for the  group's work and its political relevance.

Recall that the OSCE Minsk Group, created back in 1992, led the  difficult process of finding ways to peacefully resolve the Karabakh  conflict. The co-chairs of the Minsk Group are Russia, the United  States and France.
