Mikael Ajapahyan to remain in custody. Court extends his term of  arrest by 10 days

ArmInfo. The court rejected the petition to release Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the arrested primate of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Judge Armine Meliksetyan decided to keep the measure of restraint as  arrest and extended it for another 10 days. ,  Ajapahyan told  the court.

Lawyer Erem Sargsyan called the court's decision unfounded. , he said to the court.  , the bishop, in turn, told journalists after the  verdict was announced. According to him, he expected this outcome.  , the  archbishop said.
