


ArmInfo. During a meeting of ambassadors in Kapan, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of established peace for Armenia and the region reflecting the initialed peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku on August 8 in Washington.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian MFA, in this vein, Mirzoyan presented his vision of the country's foreign policy in this new reality, the new opportunities that have emerged and the work to be carried out to implement them.
The Minister emphasized that the consistent implementation of the peace agenda in the region and the provision of a stable, secure and prosperous environment for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia are the primary goals of the Armenian government, including the diplomatic service. Mirzoyan touched upon the opportunities provided by the unblocking of regional communications, efforts aimed at ensuring Armenia's effective participation in the expanding network of international channels, and the upcoming work to implement the trilateral declaration signed in Washington for this purpose. Noting the successes achieved, the parties exchanged views on the ongoing work in various areas, including the further development of strategic partnership.
