


ArmInfo.Armenia has become an observer state in the Latin American Integration Association (LAI). The Armenian Foreign Ministry shared this information on Twitter (X).
"Armenia has become an observer state to the LAI. This important step opens new opportunities to deepen trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Latin American countries," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) is an intergovernmental organization that promotes the expansion of regional integration to ensure its economic and social development, with the ultimate goal of establishing a common market. Member states are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The organization's headquarters is located in Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay.
