ArmInfo.Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan maintains working contacts with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Shahin Mustafayev. The Deputy Prime Minister made this statements during a government session in the National Assembly on November 12.
According to him, the last meeting took place at the border, where the parties visited the south and Azerbaijani territory. They discussed certain aspects of the border delimitation process, directly related to the location of infrastructure.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that personal contacts are maintained, aimed at continuing the process of normalizing bilateral relations. "I believe these contacts are constructive, but I can't say anything more at this stage," the RA Deputy Prime Minister said, adding that an official announcement regarding the dates of the next meeting would be forthcoming.
Grigoryan emphasized that after August 8, the parties had an incentive to continue the border delimitation process. Furthermore, the issue of the railway's location, through which the border delimitation would be based, was clarified. "Even to begin design work, we need a working base. It's possible that there may be some additional areas to delimitate to facilitate the infrastructure development of TRIPP," Grigoryan said.
