Education is only way to enhance knowledge - premier 

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the 21st award ceremony of the "Annual Educational Award in the IT Sector" at the Presidential Palace. This year, 27 students and 9 pupils from 126 participants were awarded.

The awards were presented by Nikol Pashinyan. The Prime Minister  congratulated the awardees and noted that the biggest challenge is  life. According to Nikol Pashinyan, challenges should be perceived as  part of life. "Sometimes, when we talk about a challenge, we perceive  it as something extraordinary. In my opinion, we perceive it as  extraordinary for two reasons. First, we do not face the fact that  the challenge is life itself, and second, the complexity of the  challenge is that we do not know anything about it. In other words,  we do not know how to manage this challenge. If someone does not  succeed in something, it means they do not know something."

In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of  education and emphasized that it is a strategy for the Government,  because education is the only way to reduce our level of ignorance  and increase the level of knowledge. According to the Prime Minister,  education is the only way to overcome the challenge, that is, to make  life more manageable, and this applies to both individual and group,  public and state levels.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Government invests in the education  sector at every possible opportunity, not only to reduce our current  level of ignorance, but also to pass on an even lower level of  ignorance to the next generation, the next Government. And, according  to the Prime Minister, today's award ceremony is also aimed at  encouraging this effort of pupils and students. "In our country and  in many countries, it is customary to say that a person is the  highest value. And this is an indisputable truth. A person is the  highest value, therefore the state, the Government must do their  utmost to satisfy the needs of a person. There is no objection here.  I want to draw attention to one important circumstance: a person must  be the highest value, first of all, for himself. That is, each person  is first of all the highest value for himself. And therefore, if we  expect the Government, institutions, public organizations to do their  utmost for a person, it is logical that a person should first of all  expect from himself to do his utmost for himself. And what is the  biggest thing a person can do for himself is to get an education,"  said Nikol Pashinyan, adding that the Government should do its utmost  to encourage people to get an education.

The Prime Minister once again congratulated the award winners and  thanked them for the efforts they have made for their development,  for considering themselves the highest value. Thus, according to  Nikol Pashinyan, the award winners consider their country the highest  value, they consider their state the highest value, which is worthy  of appreciation.

The Annual Educational Award in the IT Sector was established in 2005  at the initiative of Synopsys Armenia, based on an agreement signed  between the company and the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. These  initiatives, implemented under the motto "Discover the Best, Inspire  the Next," symbolize effective cooperation between the Government,  business, and the education system. To date, 707 young people have  been awarded this award, of which 495 are students and 212 are  pupils.
