ArmInfo. A public transportation passenger information system is being implemented in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Sarkis Manukyan, Director of the Yerevan City Hall Technology Center, announced this at a working meeting at the city's municipal administration on December 1.
He stated that this work is being carried out as part of a comprehensive program to improve Yerevan's public transportation. Specifically, information boards have already been installed at some bus stops, allowing passengers to find their desired routes and arrival times in real time. Currently, information boards are installed and operational at six stops. As part of the project, 30 more boards have been delivered to Yerevan; they are undergoing customs clearance, and preparatory work for their installation will begin soon. Manukyan noted that the boards are integrated with the Yandex app.
