


ArmInfo. A smuggled cigarette export was prevented at the Agarak border checkpoint, the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia reports.
Specifically, customs officers at the Agarak checkpoint inspected two trucks transporting cars from the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a result, a large consignment of undeclared tobacco products of Armenian origin-7,000 packs of cigarettes-was seized from the trucks.
A protocol for violation of customs regulations was drawn up in connection with the incident, in accordance with Article 316 of the RA Law "On Customs Regulation."
