


ArmInfo. The road to the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border remains closed to all vehicles. This was reported in a statement by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
The source notes that there are also closed roads throughout the republic. Specifically, the roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed. The roads from the Jermuk intersection to Sisian, as well as from the Noravan intersection to Kapan, and the Tatev-Ltsen road are also closed to vehicles with trailers.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers and is impassable for other types of vehicles. Spitak's curves, the Spitak-Gyumri, and Dilijan-Vanadzor roads are impassable for vehicles with trailers.
Icy conditions are present on the roads of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, and Amasia. Snow is falling in the Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions and on the Saravan-Zanger section. Fog is present on the roads of Goris and Vayk.
