Some roads closed in Armenia; Upper Lars checkpoint open to all  vehicles

ArmInfo.There are closed and impassable roads in Armenia.

According to the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service, the  roads leading from the Amberd high- mountain meteorological station  in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are  closed.  The Meghri pass, the Gndevaz-Jermuk road, and the road from  the Jermuk intersection to Kapan are closed to vehicles with  trailers. The Vardenyats Pass and the Ttujur-Navur highway are also  closed to trucks with trailers, making access difficult for other  vehicles. The Noyemberyan-Voskepar highway is impassable for trucks  with trailers. Icy conditions are observed on the roads of Aparan,  Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan,  Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, and Amasia.

A blizzard is raging on the roads of Shinuayr.

According to information received from the Department of Emergency  Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the  North Ossetian Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of  Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of  traffic.
