


ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service reports that, as of the morning of January 23, roads in Armenia remain closed and impassable.
In particular, the roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed. Also closed to traffic are the roads leading from the Noravan junction to Goris and Tatev. A blizzard is raging on the Tatev-Shinuayr-Goris and Noravan- Ltsen-Kapan highways, for which reason they are also closed to all traffic.
Blizzard conditions are also observed on the Ttuzhzhur-Navur and Tashir-Blagodarnoye roads. The junction from Jermuk to Noravan is closed to vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers. Icy conditions are present on the roads of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, Amasia, and Dilijan.
A snowstorm is raging in the Aragats and Tashir regions and at the Chambarak Pass.
According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of traffic.
