Security of South Caucasus important for Iran 

ArmInfo.  The South Caucasus region is important for Iran, as stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Begaei  at a briefing.

The Iranian diplomat emphasized the recent visit of the Iranian  Defense Minister to Baku and the security consultations. "This region  is of great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran. We view peace  and stability there as a form of our own peace and stability. This  visit is a continuation of Foreign Minister Araghchi's earlier visit  to Baku," he said, according to media reports.
