


ArmInfo.During a working visit to Thessaloniki, Armenian Ambassador to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan met with the Governor of the Macedonia and Thrace Region and Deputy Minister of the Interior of Greece, Konstantinos Gioulekas.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Greece, during the meeting, Mkrtchyan noted the need to intensify decentralized cooperation between Armenia and Greece, given the existing high-level political relations between the two countries. In this regard, the prospect of organizing a visit to Armenia by a delegation consisting of representatives of various economic circles from the Macedonia and Thrace regions was discussed, which would allow them to become familiar with existing opportunities on the ground. Konstantinos Gioulekas noted that similar visits to several countries bordering Greece are planned for the near future, and the possibility of visiting Armenia may be considered in the future.
Mkrtchyan presented the latest developments in Armenia's foreign policy, the current dynamics of Armenian-Greek relations, and the high-level contacts expected in the near future.
