Large-scale modernization of seismic protection systems gets underway  in Armenia - Arpine Sargsyan

ArmInfo. Large-scale modernization of the seismic protection system has begun in Armenia. RA Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan announced this at a press conference on February 13.

According to her, these efforts will significantly improve  statistical data in this area. Arpine Sargsyan noted that this year  Armenia will host a major international seismological forum, which  will be held at the seismological station in Gyumri. This station,  the minister noted, is the only one in the region with an  international certificate, which is important for the international  image of the Armenian state. The authorities will continuously  maintain this image by making significant investments in the  development of the seismic protection system.
