ArmInfo.The results of international expert examinations conducted in three different countries have confirmed that Archbishop Arshak Khachtarian, head of the chancery of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, has no connection whatsoever to the content of the videos attributed to him. Lawyer Arsen Babayan announced this on his Facebook page.
He recalled that he commissioned these examinations back in November of last year to establish the authenticity of the known videos and noted that the experts also reached other important conclusions. "The experts determined that the video content was fake and created using specialized software. The scenes captured in the video did not exist in objective reality, and it is impossible to identify the individuals seen in it," the lawyer stated.
Babayan added that there are other important findings that indicate the video was falsified. The lawyer stated that he intends to present these expert examination results to the public at a press conference in Yerevan in the near future, where he will also publish details of the international expert opinions.
As a reminder, in 2025, a video allegedly depicting Archbishop Arshak with a woman was circulated on pro-government platforms. The video quality was very poor, and only general facial features were visible. The source of the video is unknown. The clergyman himself has repeatedly emphasized that he has no connection to the video.
