


ArmInfo.Armenian Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan discussed the progress of constitutional reforms and the country's peace agenda with Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Yerevan, David Allen.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Justice, Galyan presented the current vision of the constitutional reform process, the planned timeframe, the amendments under discussion, and other issues of interest to the partners. The Minister of Justice emphasized that the reforms are aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the legal system, strengthening democratic institutions, and the rule of law.
Galyan also praised the US contribution to establishing peace in the region and its further institutionalization, reaffirming the Ministry of Justice's commitment to cooperation in this area. Allen, in turn, confirmed the United States' readiness to provide the necessary support in this process. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue effective cooperation in the identified areas.
