ArmInfo. Political struggle requires daily work, regardless of elections. Elections are just one episode. Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan writes this on his Facebook page, addressing national policymakers.

The expert drew their attention to three simple truths. First of all,  it's impossible to fight for elections by limiting them to the  campaign period; this is a grave mistake. Elections, according to  Geghamyan, are a crisis for any regime, even the most authoritarian,  and an opportunity for the opposition to strengthen its position for  further struggle, regardless of the final outcome.

"We're seeing right now how the de facto ruling group is fighting for  votes (from pensions to sham divorces), because no matter how strong  their position, the crisis exists and still needs to be overcome.   National policy must also have appropriate approaches. It's already  clear that both the elections and the domestic political struggle in  general have a geopolitical context. And it's clear that Turkey and  Azerbaijan, these two states pursuing the elimination of our  statehood, are interested in weakening us, so they will support the  de facto ruling group with various tools (examples of this already  exist, at least at the level of rhetoric and symbolic steps)," the  political scientist noted.

Given these three truths, he called on policymakers to address four  issues. It is impossible to win and strengthen national positions if  national forces do not coordinate and align their actions with one  another.  "I'm not talking about unification, I'm talking about  coordination and coordination again. Resources are scarce, but much  remains to be done. Therefore, a certain division of labor (fronts)  and simultaneous work are necessary. Everyone will benefit from this,  and most importantly, national interests. If national forces continue  to discuss daily what representatives of the de facto ruling group  say instead of proposing their own program and fighting for it, I can  name dozens of topics that should not only be discussed on a daily  basis, but also take political and legal steps, uniting the public  around them. If national forces do not realize that there will be  peace with Azerbaijan, and the same Azerbaijan and Turkey will stop  taking things from us, then they will make a mistake again. And  lastly: political struggle, like war, requires a scientific approach.  Every step, every thesis, every initiative must be developed  scientifically, in the deepest sense of the word. If you rely only on  intuition, opinion and ingenuity, then the enemy will always win,  because he is scientifically savvy and wise. You must be able to "To  outsmart is to be wiser.
