


ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, over the deaths of Iranian leadership and citizens.
As reported by the Armenian government's press service, the message reads: "Your Excellency, we are following the developments in Iran with great concern. Please accept my condolences regarding the casualties among the leadership and the deaths of its citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We will always remember the personal role of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ali Khamenei in the development of Armenian-Iranian relations. At this difficult time, we hope for the speedy establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East. Taking this opportunity, I wish you patience, peace, and fortitude to the friendly and neighboring people of Iran."
It should be noted that the day before, the President of Russia sent a telegram of condolences "over the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Republic, Seyed Ali Khamenei, and members of his family." The President of Azerbaijan also sent a telegram of condolences "over the death of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Seyed Ali Khamenei to Masoud Pezeshkian. In his message today, the President of Tajikistan noted: "We received the news of the death of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Said Ali Khamenei, and a number of Iranian officials and commanders with great regret and deep sadness."
