
ArmInfo. A FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Yerevan has been delayed due to shelling, Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported on social media.
It is noted that four citizens of the Republic of Armenia who had registered for this flight have contacted the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Dubai (contact information for the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Dubai: +971585670993). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the airline's representatives. The flight is currently scheduled for 3:00 PM local time.
The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that a Muscat-Yerevan flight is scheduled for March 8 at 9:30 PM, for which the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the UAE and the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Dubai will organize a free transfer from the UAE to Oman Airport. Additionally, as reported by Ani Badalyan, 12 citizens of the Republic of Armenia have currently contacted the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Vietnam (as well as in Laos, Cambodia, and the Philippines by mutual agreement). Four of them will depart on March 7 on the Ho Chi Minh City-Guangzhou-Almaty-Tbilisi flight, then return to Yerevan from Tbilisi by car. Seven will return to Armenia on March 9 on the Ho Chi Minh City-Urumqi-Yerevan flight. Another citizen is awaiting return to Bahrain.
Since the beginning of hostilities, 41 citizens of the Republic of Armenia have contacted the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Qatar: 38 of them, traveling on Qatar Airways, were provided with accommodation and meals by the airline, and two were given medical assistance. Three more citizens are in Qatar, and possible repatriation options are also being considered for them. A flight to Yerevan is currently included in the Qatar Airways schedule for March 9. There are currently approximately two dozen Armenian citizens in Israel, with most of whom the Armenian Embassy maintains regular contact. On March 5, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism announced the possibility of organizing transportation for foreign citizens to the border crossing with Egypt. The Embassy informed Armenian citizens remaining in Israel as a result of the military conflict of this initiative. Four of them have responded so far, stating that they still prefer to remain in Israel and await the reopening of Ben-Gurion Airport. About a dozen Armenian citizens are studying at various universities and high schools in Israel and have not yet expressed a desire to return to Armenia.
