ArmInfo. The United National Constitutional Party (UNCP) is planning to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections on June 7. This was announced at a press conference on March 9 by party leader, National Assembly member, and former member of the ruling Civil Contract party, Hovik Agazaryan.
According to him, no decision has yet been made regarding the format for participation in the elections.
Negotiations are underway with other political forces, and if common ground is found, the party will participate in the elections with them. However, Agazaryan continued, in this case, the discussion will not be about a bloc, but rather a unified party list, to overcome the legal threshold for entering parliament. The MP recalled that this threshold is 5% for parties and 7% for blocs.
