Yerevan and Sofia: Strengthening sister city ties

ArmInfo.Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov. The parties discussed several key areas of cooperation between the two capitals, noting the importance of intensifying  cooperation.

Mayor Avinyan emphasized that the strong diplomatic bond between  Armenia and Bulgaria provides the perfect springboard for city-level  initiatives.  In turn, Ambassador Nikolov  pledged his support in  facilitating and overseeing the implementation of upcoming joint  projects. 

Recall, Yerevan and Sofia have been sister cities since 2008.
