ArmInfo. The Yerevan Metro is currently operating on one track in both directions due to a technical glitch.
Metro spokesperson Anna Aslanyan told ArmInfo.
According to her, the accident occurred in an open section of the Gortsaranain station due to a power surge. "Specialists are working on the scene due to the situation. They are doing everything possible to resolve the technical glitch as quickly as possible and restore full metro service," the spokesperson noted, adding that it is currently unclear when exactly the problem will be resolved.
It should be noted that earlier, videos of huge queues at various metro stations began circulating on Armenian social media. Citizens complained that they were unable to get to classes and work due to disruptions in the Moscow metro.
