ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that the Civil Contract Party he leads will win secure a win in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Pashinyan noted that his optimism stems from recent face-to-face meetings with citizens during a month-long internal party campaign. He argued that after a "thousand-year search," it is "historically impossible" for the people to abandon the path of development in favor of a "survival agenda" just as the goal is within reach. He made this statement during a government hour in parliament on March 25, answering a question from a fellow party member.
Pashinyan once again noted that the "Civil Contract" party is the sole guarantor of peace. According to him, all other forces are advocating for a revision of the peace, which would inevitably lead to war.
On March 19, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that if the ruling "Civil Contract" party does not remain in power, the country could face the risk of war as early as September.
